Coming up this week...

Going forward, I will probably be updating this blog 3-4 times a week. Most of those posts will be related to my YouTube channel, Let's Discuss with Eliza. This week I moved, I'm currently unemployed, and my car needs work I can't afford, so I will probably be posting here more than usual until I find work. And working from home is really not something I wanted. I really have no idea what I'll be doing next.

In the meantime, filming and blogging is a great way to keep myself distracted from my growing pile of problems. So, here's what's coming up.

On Saturday I will be uploading a video about the flag code. I'm not one to tell people how they have to treat the flag or to be a stickler about chiding people for not following a rule or a social expectation. The way I see it, it is entirely up to you how you want to treat the flag and if that is different than how I feel about it then so be it. However, what I am a stickler about is practicing what you preach. And I just felt like I had a few things to say about people who want to criticize some for "disrespecting" the flag when they so clearly and blatantly overlook parts of the U.S. flag code whenever it suits them. If you really believe that everyone should respect the flag, then act like it and know what the actual rules are.

On Sunday I will be uploading a video about QAnon. It's not very in depth. It's basically just me sharing a lot of personal experiences, ranting a little bit, and basically expressing that for those of us who grew up in conservative homes a lot of the rhetoric is nothing new. QAnon has gotten a lot of attention in particular for calling the imprisonment and/or execution of Democrats. That stuff has been going on for a while. A lot of Republicans think that they deserve more rights than the Democrats. There is truly no rhyme or reason, no logic behind this feeling at all, but don't think that it's something new because a group of conspiracy theorists are getting a lot of attention now.

On Monday I will be uploading a video reacting to Classically Abby. I don't do a whole lot of reaction videos on my channel, mainly because of time. Since I will be working from home going forward and mostly making my own schedule that may change at some point. I reacted to a  video of hers almost a year ago about modesty. I do not understand how any adult woman can think that it is something positive to suggest that women shouldn't decide for themselves what they wear. It is an absolutely absurd concept. And this Monday I'll be reacting to a Q + A video that she did on the topic.

I have several other little projects that I'm working on, but those have taken a back seat to my job search. Next week's videos will be on mental health and my own experience with my job hunt.
